Why Over the Counter Wart Removers Don’t Work

October 27, 2008

Over the Counter Wart Removers are becoming more and more popular all the time.

The problem is, typically they don't work.

The main problem with over the counter wart removers is is once the wart is removed… it keeps coming back… and typically stronger than ever.

Why does this keep happening? Well, what you have to understand is that most of the products available just do not penetrate deep enough into the skin for their chemical components to work properly.

The premise of these products is to kill the tissue the wart virus lives in and thus kill the virus.

Unfortunately, by not being able to get down far enough to remove all of the virus infected cells of a wart, it survives to re-grow another day. This usually leaves the person chronically treating the same areas over and over again -- sometimes for years.

If you have tried these methods in the past, I am sure you can attest to the fact that the results are often bleeding, pain, secondary infections, itching, and finally abandoning the treatment that hurts worse than the wart itself.

I am sure you understand the frustration and anger felt when you do persevere for the length of time recommended to remove the wart, only to find the wart coming back!

What I have found through experience is that it is not worth wasting your time, money, and patience on over-the-counter products.  If you have a wart or skin tag you want to get rid of safely and permanently, there is another way!

Ovarian Cysts / Ovarian Cancer

November 18, 2008

My mother-in-law called the other day and told us the doctor thinks she has ovarian cancer.  Wow. Scary.  It’s amazing how just like that, everything in life can change.

She told me she had a tumor / cyst on her ovary and she had all the symptoms of ovarian cancer. Her symptoms were as follows:

  • terrible pain in her back
  • frequent urination
  • chronic exhaustion (she has been telling me this for months. She said she goes to bed pretty soon after dinner… that is how tired she always is / has been).
  • swollen stomach
  • loss of appetite
  • diarrhea
  • weight loss
  • So being the researcher I am, I quickly looked up the symptoms and she was right… she definitely had all of the symptoms.

However, I told her that a couple of years back, the doctors found a cyst on my ovary as well. I was in pain … had a swollen stomach… was chronically tired… and even though I was only middle aged, I suspected the worst and figured I had ovarian cancer as well.  Turns out it was just a benign cyst.  And I learned it was fairly common.

However, my mother-in-law is 74 and she is not in the best health.  She has smoked for over 40 years… she has emphysema too … so we were a bit worried.  Plus, the information said typically no symptoms are present in the early stages of the cancer.

I decided to research the stages of ovarian cancer and here is what I found…

    STAGE I:

  • Cancer is present in one or both ovaries
  • STAGE II:

  • The cancer has now also spread to other pelvic areas such as the bladder, rectum, or sigmoid colon. The cancer has also spread to the uterus, fallopian tubes, bladder, sigmoid colon, or rectum. Cancer may also be located in the tissue and fluid samples of the lining of the abdominal cavity.
  • STAGE 3:

  • The cancer has spread to the lymph nodes in the upper abdomen, groin or behind the womb.
  • STAGE 4:

  • The cancer has spread to other organs outside the peritoneal cavity of the body such as the liver and lungs.
  • So what is the PROGNOSIS of Ovarian Cancer?

    Here is what I found:
If found in stage I, there is a 73% survival rate (73 in 100 survive).
If found in stage II, there is a 45% survival rate (45 out of 100 survive).
If found in stage III, there is a 21% survival rate (21 out of 100 survive).
If found in stage IV, less than 5% survive (less than 5 out of 100 survive).

    That is sad news.

Well, we are praying that the cyst is just benign. And if it is, there are natural ways to get rid of the cyst.  Click here to see how to naturally dissolve ovarian cysts .

    Why Wart Removers Don’t Work

    November 4, 2008

Do you want to know why most Wart Removers don’t work?

Well, the typical over the counter wart remover does not kill the root of the warts.  It’s like trimming back a tree.  When you trim back a tree, you don’t kill the tree.  You might cut off some branches and it looks like they are gone… but they will grow back… unless you pull out the whole tree… from the root.

It is the same with warts. If you want the warts to go away, you have to kill them at the root.  Otherwise, they will most likely come back.

Natural wart removers work best at killing the root of the warts.

    Chocolate is good for you

    October 29, 2008

Flavonoids are good for you.  But what in the world are flavonoids anyway?  Well, flavonoids are the “good stuff” found in berries… strawberries, fruits, vegetables and teas.  The “good stuff” is good for your heart as well as other organs in your body.

These flavonoids have the same affects as antioxidants. If you don’t know what antioxidants are, please read this article… http://members.ezinearticles.com/?type=pv&art_id=1241832&id=110275&pass=7e52e26f9150dfcb60e9e4920c052a1f762b921417f95af38c7afff311918f94

That doesn’t sound very exciting, though, does it?  Eating vegetables and fruits all the time.  In the words of Emeril Lagasse, we need to “kick it up a notch”… make things more exciting.

Well, let me tell you, it does get more exciting…

Dark chocolate has flavonoids in it.  Chocolate? Yes, chocolate!  Studies show that eating one half a bar of dark chocolate a week might be a good habit to get into … and that it is good for your heart.

Sorry to tell you that milk chocolate does not do the trick for our heart.  It interferes with creating “good stuff” from happening in our bodies.

So with Halloween coming around, remember, if you are going to binge on chocolate, binge on dark chocolate!

Rapid Weight Loss Ideas – Simple Rapid Weight Loss Ideas

    June 16, 2008

Need some rapid weight loss ideas?

The basics to rapid weight loss ideas is you have to burn a lot more calories than you consume. For years… when I was single and had no children, I would eat anything I wanted up to about 1800 to 2200 calories a day and then exercise about 2 hours a day. I was able to stay within 114 to 118 pounds for a long time.

Ok, in came marriage and a child. With marriage, I instantly gained 5 pounds and then with a child, well, you know how that goes. As a woman, you get maybe a minute of time to yourself a day so exercising 2 hours a day was out of the question.

I needed another way to increase my metabolism besides exercising a lot and taking diet pills.

First of all, anything hot helps increase your metabolism. Hot sauce, hot peppers, hot tea, etc. But if you don’t like hot which I typically don’t, here are more weight loss tips…

Another rapid weight loss idea is to cut back majorly on carbs. I have always struggled to keep my weight down… always had to work real hard at it. I can remember at 12 years old going to the track to run because I struggled to keep weight off even at that early age. However, a read a book recently that has helped me majorly with weight loss tips. If you cut back on carbs, you will find you have a much easier time losing weight. Think about the carbs that you eat and then only eat half of the carbs you typically eat.  Of course, if you are eating 500 carbs a day, then you want to really cut back!

Even fruit has carbs so be careful… especially if you your goal is rapid weight loss.  Eat only a half a cup of fruit… or even a quarter a day.

Also, increase your protein. I have never eaten much protein but now I eat more and it definitely helps with weight loss.  I snack on peanuts all the time. They are very high in protein and low in carbs.  Find snacks like that and you should acheive rapid weight loss.

Look for whole wheat bread that is high in fiber and lower in carbs.

Cheese is also a “rapid weight loss idea”.  I know, I know, they tell you  not to eat a lot of cheese.. because it’s fattening.  Actually, it is not fattening if you don’t combine it with carbs.

If you are going to eat cheese, eat it on a low carb bread… but definitely not on a sub roll!  Then, it is horrible for you and instead of rapid weight loss, you will achieve rapid weight gain!

It’s the combination of foods that matter.  Just don’t eat a lot of carbs … eat high protein (the “fat content” does not matter when it comes to weight loss)

And of course… for rapid weight loss… exercise!

And those are your rapid weight loss ideas for the day.

Free Exercise Program – Free Exercise Program for Thighs and Butt that you can do in Zero Minutes a Day

    June 16, 2008

Do you want a free exercise program that is effective for your thighs and butt?

Here is a free exercise program for your butt and thighs that you can do in zero minutes a day.

Ok, let me explain and it will all make perfect sense. Women are always complaining that we don’t have enough time to exercise.  If we have children, we might have one minute a day to ourselves, right? We keep dreaming of those perfect butt and thighs, but we never make the time to exercise them, do we?

Well, here is an effective free exercise program where you will be exercising your butt and thighs where you won’t need any extra time in the day to do them.  This exercise program will last about 25 to 45 minutes but again, you will really be exercising in 0 minutes a day.  Still confused?  Read on…

There are at least 3 times a day that we women have to ourselves (I hope) … when we are blowdrying our hair… when we are in the shower… and when we have to go to the bathroom.

How much time do you spend blowdrying your hair? I spend about 15 minutes a day because my hair is so thick… so that gives me 15 minutes where I can blow dry my hair and exercise my butt and thighs at the same time. While blowing dry your hair, just squat down as if you are sitting. Make sure you can see your feet, otherwise, you are squatting down too far and you might injure your knees or fall down. Squat for as long as you can without screaming… and then stand back up. Wait a minute or two and try it again. In the beginning, only do it once or twice. Keep doing this daily for a few weeks and you should see those thighs and butt getting much firmer. Plus, your metabolism will definitely increase so you should be able to eat more.

Also, the shower is a good time to do butt and thigh exercises. When you are in the shower, squeeze your butt slightly for a few seconds and then release… squeeze and release… squeeze and release. It is hard to do much more than that in the shower because you could fall. A typical shower lasts anywhere form 10 to 20 minutes so do them as long as you can stand it. Again, keep doing this for a few weeks and your butt will be higher and firmer.

Now the bathroom. When you are done going to the bathroom, again, squat down (so you can still see your feet) for just a minute or two after you are done (make sure you do this in the stall and not outside the stall or people might think you are a little crazy). Remember, you go to the bathroom at least 3 to 6 times a day. So that is an extra 3 to 12 minutes you can spend exercising your butt and thighs.

So there you have it… a free exercise program that you can do every day.  Perform these exercises religiously every day and in about 3 weeks, you will have improved the look of your butt and thighs a whole lot. And now you have no excuses. You can exercise at least 25 to 45 minutes a day without adding any more time to your schedule!

    How to Lower Cholesterol Naturally

    June 7, 2008

Doctors will tell you that you can’t lower your cholesterol naturally… and to be honest with you, I am thinking with changing your diet, you can only lower it so much.

However, my husband is living proof that you CAN lower your cholesterol by taking all natural supplements.  You do not have to take lipitor or other cholesterol lowering drugs to lower your cholesterol.

    Here is his story…

Back in 2006, his doctor told him he should go on lipitor because his cholesterol was too high.  It was up to 254.  Actually, it has been closer to 300 before so we didn’t think that was too bad.  Ha, ha.

My husbands triglyerides had been as high as 171.  Not good.

Anyway, after reading the side effects of lipitor, I got pretty scared since my husband has had so many health problems in the past.  So, I figured I’d research all natural supplements that might help him… and at least try that route first.  So that is what I did.

After 10 months, his cholesterol went down to 181 and his triglycerides to 71.  Yes, his cholesterol dropped 73 points and his triglycerides dropped 100 points.  And he did not change his diet.  Well, he did try to eat fruit for breakfast or high fiber cereal but he was not religious about it.

So what did he take?  Here is exactly what he took … and continues to take to keep his cholesterol down.

Red Rice Yeast (4 times a day)

                Co Q 10 (75 mg., 2 times a day)

Milk Thistle (took for 60 days)

Coral Calcium (yes, Dr. Barefoots – 1 time a day)

1 TBS RAW apple cider vinegar (although he was not religious about taking this daily either).

Now a lot of people think it is expensive to take all of this but if you buy the supplements at the right place, it really isn’t.  Initially, we were going to the local health store and it was costing us an arm and leg… and then one day, a friend of ours told us about a place online where we could buy everything for cheap… so that is what we do.  Here is a link to that company…

Anyway, this is how my husband lowered his cholesterol… so you might want to try it!  It beats all of those side effects of lipitor and other cholesterol lowering drugs.
