Need some rapid weight loss ideas?
The basics to rapid weight loss ideas is you have to burn a lot more calories than you consume. For years… when I was single and had no children, I would eat anything I wanted up to about 1800 to 2200 calories a day and then exercise about 2 hours a day. I was able to stay within 114 to 118 pounds for a long time.
Ok, in came marriage and a child. With marriage, I instantly gained 5 pounds and then with a child, well, you know how that goes. As a woman, you get maybe a minute of time to yourself a day so exercising 2 hours a day was out of the question.
I needed another way to increase my metabolism besides exercising a lot and taking diet pills.
First of all, anything hot helps increase your metabolism. Hot sauce, hot peppers, hot tea, etc. But if you don’t like hot which I typically don’t, here are more weight loss tips…
Another rapid weight loss idea is to cut back majorly on carbs. I have always struggled to keep my weight down… always had to work real hard at it. I can remember at 12 years old going to the track to run because I struggled to keep weight off even at that early age. However, a read a book recently that has helped me majorly with weight loss tips. If you cut back on carbs, you will find you have a much easier time losing weight. Think about the carbs that you eat and then only eat half of the carbs you typically eat. Of course, if you are eating 500 carbs a day, then you want to really cut back!
Even fruit has carbs so be careful… especially if you your goal is rapid weight loss. Eat only a half a cup of fruit… or even a quarter a day.
Also, increase your protein. I have never eaten much protein but now I eat more and it definitely helps with weight loss. I snack on peanuts all the time. They are very high in protein and low in carbs. Find snacks like that and you should acheive rapid weight loss.
Look for whole wheat bread that is high in fiber and lower in carbs.
Cheese is also a “rapid weight loss idea”. I know, I know, they tell you not to eat a lot of cheese.. because it’s fattening. Actually, it is not fattening if you don’t combine it with carbs.
If you are going to eat cheese, eat it on a low carb bread… but definitely not on a sub roll! Then, it is horrible for you and instead of rapid weight loss, you will achieve rapid weight gain!
It’s the combination of foods that matter. Just don’t eat a lot of carbs … eat high protein (the “fat content” does not matter when it comes to weight loss)
And of course… for rapid weight loss… exercise!
And those are your rapid weight loss ideas for the day.
